1-27-04 After several server problems, I'm trying to get everything working again. Haven't answered e-mail for a while or anything because this has become a long term project and may take several days.
12-5-01 Lot went on in my life again. Ended up as one of the thousands laid off and finally found a new job, so that's taking precedence right now. Also had some problems with Microsoft Front Page. I did however manage to get two LONG overdue links in for Barbary Lions.
10-1-01 Lord it's been a long time. I apologize for not updating or answering e-mail, with a full time job and starting classes I haven't had much time to myself, this week there was no homework so I had extra time over the weekend for once.
First off my sympathies for anyone who has lost someone in the recent tragedy on September 11th. The icon on my splash page links to the Red Cross for anyone wishing to make donations.
Now for the updates: I had a chance to visit the LaBrea tar pits back in June and finally got around to putting up photos on the images section and a photo of the American Lion skeleton on the high graphics ancient Pantherines section.
Due to the fact my site has been used for school projects, I added a new page with extra info that I hope will be helpful for school projects. Hoping I have time in coming months to ad more to it, right now it deal mainly with the Rancho LaBrea site, paleontology work, and the difference between Smilodon and Panthera genera.
Lastly, I come back to find out Cool Boards has sold out, so took the message board link down. Don't know if I'll have another up or not yet.
1-6-01 Corrected a couple mistakes pointed out in e-mail, trying to get things together to add more pages. Have outlines but haven't found pictures to go with them.
11-25-00 Finally got a chance to answer some mail and work on my site a little, even if the server is making it difficult to update anything.
10-11-00 Been a long time since I updated, but took a while to get a residence and everything to start my new job , needless to say I've been very busy. I apologize for neglecting the site and not being able to answer e-mail, this weekend I hope to try and get around to it all if not sooner. Quickly updated broken links today so my site at least works.
7-14-00 Still trying to get things in order offline, got a new job and have to finalize a place to live nearby, but took the chance to quickly set up a new message board with a much better format.
6-14-00 Upgraded to FrontPage 2000. Got rid of frames. I apologize for neglecting the site but moving out of state and arranging for a new job as well as a second bachelor's has been taking up my free time lately.
4-18-00 Changed the Tsavo section to just a general Man Eaters section after adding the Man Eater of Mfuwe text and images. Also finally got around to putting up another new drawing; replaced the Dinofelis picture this time. I apologize for lags in updates and answering e-mail but a lot has been going on offline, including making preparations to move. I hope to get back into the swing of things soon.
2-9-00 Updated my drawings, so far only Smilodon drawings are up now. Others will be added over time as work allows me to finish them.

1-13-00 Spent almost the whole day fixing graphics and ended up creating a low graphic version of the site for browsers that have trouble with high graphics.
10-25-99 Sorry for ignoring everything on my site, work and other things keep getting in the way. did a major update as far as graphics goes, changed my titles on extant cats. I might change my extinct cats titles later tonight. Not sure how much I'll be able to update, besides work I have to back up all my files. I'd hate to lose them if the servers do crash on New Year's and I have to re-load my site:/
9-6-99 Added two images of white lions. I hope to add some of the new pages soon.
8-9-99 Added the biology info section I've been working on. Also began re-organization. It won't be integrated until it works properly, but go here if you want to see what it's going to look like. The site will be organized at the Order level of classification, breaking down from there. Still haven't figured out how to best organize the evolution section. Might make more updates tonight
8-8-99 Changed the background theme. Also added a discussion forum, it might change a bit over time but right now I just got it running. Hasn't been much to update about, but work allowing I plan on making a lot of changes around here. Later tonight I should be adding a small article from National Geographic about a new extinct cat species recently uncovered, but the big updates will take much mo9re time.
here's the lowdown:
The site will soon be called, 'The Lion's Kingdom' with information added about more animals, first with primates and canids. Living species will be first with evolution later. This will take a lot of time, first I'm trying to figure out the best way to organize things and then there's the usual research and image gathering. I hope to be able to do a little each week, but with work and all I might not be able to be as frequent.

5-2-99 made a few graphics changes, mostly to the toolbar. Also started reorganizing the Evolution section.
3-1-99 finally changed the image archive with icons instead of full sized images, this should decrease the load time. Also added four extinct cats images.

10-19-98 FINALLY got back to updating this site! I've been really busy at work, as well as setting up a second site.... I added a page on extinct Pantherines that I've been meaning to for a while now. Also made a little 'appearance' change.. got rid of a couple GIFs cluttering up the main page and added the tiger GIF to the bottom of each page near the home link.. I think this makes it more uniform... now I need to find a way to make the evolution page look better and add some pictures to the ancient Pantherines page.
7-26-98 got back from Field Museum member's night in Chicago and added a lot of new images. Some are on the tiger, Man Eaters of Tsavo, cheetah, and leopard pages and all are in the image archive. Time for me to get some rest, it's almost midnight! :)
6-24-98 made the cladogram on my evolution page link to a full screen image.. this will have to do until I can figure out how to re-do the page, it need a complete overhaul.

4-29-98 Added jaguar and leopard comparison table, also added more screen grabbed images to the lion, jaguar and leopard pages. I'll get more on when I can get to use a scanner (hopefully I'll get one of my own soon!:))
4-20-98 Finally added pages for all the genera named on my evolution page. Since these are a group now, I also added links back to the evolution page in each genus page. Now I can work on making the evolution page look less boring, as well as adding drawings to the new pages.

3-30-98 Switched over to my new server, now I finally had room to finish the lion and hyena section on my lion page as well as add my second white tiger picture. I'm still getting everything set on my new server, so not everything is up or working yet. Most of the problems are with my new no frames version, I'm still trying to get it to work right. I hope to have everything straightened out soon.
3-26-98 My new domain name is recognized by InterNIC now, so I'm starting to move over... which means there might be some problems with this site until the move is finished. Right now I'm working on finishing what I didn't have room for so it at least looks complete! Also , I finally had room to make a non frames version of my site.
3-22-98 Added images to the jaguar page, as well as two images of a white tiger and two of a snow leopard. I'm having trouble getting one image out because I ran out of AFS space, but I'm switching servers soon so my site can be much larger than this.

2-23-98 My jaguar page is up, images should be added later. Also, I noticed I forgot to add the sources I've used so far to my mythology page (which I hope to add more to soon), so I took the time to correct it and give proper credit to my sources. On another note, I 'm having software trouble with regards to my links page. I hope to be able to call tech support and fix it soon!
2-9-98 Set up an image link to my jaguar page. Sorry there's nothing on it yet, but it's been a long day and I need some rest! The page should be up before March.
2-5-98 Added images to my links and updates page, so they look nicer. I'll be adding my section on the jaguar ( as well as more species in the evolution section) soon.
1-26-98 Added more images. Now there are some real pictures of cheetahs and leopards instead of my drawings. Unfortunately they're screen grabs. I'm trying to keep as many of the images as I can my own, but some I just don't have the means to photograph myself.

1-21-98 Joined the Wild Cat web ring and spent a while setting my page up for it, including changes in my toolbar to get it to fit as well as possible. Maybe now I can get more hits. Also updated my links , that's enough for today!

12-31-97 Added images to Smilodon page, made a rather embarrassing correction: I just realized I was typing September for all the dates in my updates. Now they're December like they should be!
12-28-97 Worked on tiger text... only two more pages to go and I'm finally done with my initial setup (maybe then I can get working on appearance!) Also, finally added links to my link page ... about time, now it actually does something.
12-27-97 Worked on text for evolution page, added page for the genus Smilodon. Also worked out all technical problems (I hope) so the site operates properly and images can be seen.
