MUSEUMS DISPLAYING SPECIMENS:

SPAIN
The Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid: skeleton

Paramachairodus is a genus that is under much debate. Very little is known about this cat, aside from the age of specimens found, as it has until recently only found in fragments.. P. ogygia, the most recently discovered, is most likely to give insight on the morphology of this cat. The sample was found in Spain at a site called Cerro Batallones near Madrid. This sample is the only know example of nearly complete skulls and skeletons.

This information was published in 1997, so there may have been some new evidence from the Cerro Batallones specimens. I am currently checking journals for any new information I can find. I'll be adding more as I find it.
